INFORMATION ABOUT COSTA BLANCA NORTH

The Costa Blanca Nord is located in the province of Alicante, Spain, the main tourist destination of the Mediterranean Sea due to its mild climate with an average annual temperature of 19 C is recognised by the WHO as one of the best in Europe and the world.

The sandy beaches and other coves of its 218 km of coastline stretching from Denia to Benidorm are very attractive to attract many visitors who have been spending the summer there for several years.

This area known as Marina Alta is crossed by mountains which, on reaching the sea, form impressive cliffs next to small isolated beaches in the municipalities of Denia in Calpe, Els Poblets, El Verger and its surroundings.

The expanse of the Northern Costa Blanca is surrounded by the sea and the mountains that look out over it showing all the splendour of its Mediterranean landscape. The valleys and mountains are covered with holm oaks, pines, carob trees and scented by a wide variety of aromatic plants.

The whole area is also dotted with archaeological sites left over centuries by the Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans and Muslims.

The Northern Costa Blanca offers the possibility of living in urban or residential areas, close to the sea, countryside or the surrounding hills, giving you the opportunity to discover our rich gastronomy and intense nightlife.

Many marinas are located on the coast to enjoy the sea, nautical clubs: Denia Yacht Club and its marina, Javea, Nautical Clubs of Moraira, Campomanes, Altea and Bassetes Marina, and for golf enthusiasts who are not forgotten, there are numerous facilities, golf de la Sella, Javea, Oliva Nova, and Ifach Moraira.

The Northern Costa Blanca has a very high quality of life index thanks to a competent and inexpensive health system with very good hospitals and clinics, you will also find many shopping centres, international schools including the Lady Elizabeth in Benitachell, and the Lope de Vega International School in Benidorm.

Communications are excellent by land, air and sea.

Alicante (Altet International Airport) and Valencia (Manises International Airport) airports are served by numerous airlines.

The cost of living is much lower than in most wealthy European countries, with the added advantage of very high security and political stability.
